Hacking is when someone brakes into someone elses myspace. Or when a program steals your password and sends annoying bullitons and advertising comments. They get your password when you might accidentily click on something and it sends you to the myspace login, but if you look at the web address it isnt really myspace. if you didnt notice the fake address and give them your password they can access your account and create problems. The one way you can make sure your account is safe is changing your password and dont tell it

Hacking is a term often misused. A more adequate word is cracking. Usually an account can be accessed maliciously if the person's password if cracked. This happens when the person does not take adequate measures to protect their account such as using a hard to guess password, using a basic secret question that others may know the answer for and displaying their email address publically.

There are two forms of hacking, black hat and white hat. White hats are the guys who 'hack' hardware or software to make it work better or more to their liking. This could be overclocking your processor to make it run faster, or adding something to a program to make it work better. Then, you have black hat. Black Hat's are the guys who hack into computers, steal stuff for personal gain.

in myspace they just take your password and email and they use your profile to promote what theyre selling. like those retarded comments "get your macys card" or "i just got my iphone"
