Whe i'm talking to someone i want to make a connection regardless of how small so eye contact is important to me.

Eye contact is very important to me as it gives me more of an idea of a person than the actual conversation. I would have to add body language in as another very important thing in getting to know someone.

When ever I talk to someone I look in their eyes. I never really like talking on the phone or chatting on the Internet, because then they might be rolling there eyes or something while you don't see them...you can always know a lot with eye contact.

I agree with you, eye contact is important to me as well. I don't like it when a person talks to me with sun-glasses on, the eye's express the way they feel that is why i like looking into someone's eyes.:)

Eye contact is VERY important! However not everyone is as confident as u. So I advise them THE WIMPS. To instead of looking them straight into their eyes, just look at the bridge of their nose. They won,t know the difference, they won.t know the difference BABY!!!

Yes eye contact is impotant but sometime it gets freaky if the person you are talking to hardly ever blinks and the just keep staring at you

yeah eye contact is important but too much of it freaks me out. I know some people who will just stare into my eyes when speaking to me, that makes me feel uneasy, ocassional eye contact is good but not constant

Eye contact is absolutely essentail, I hate when I speak to a person and they gaze off into the middle distance, makes me think they have something to hide.
