Theatre groups?

This question is directed mainly toward persons involved in the theatre world: I'm an aspiring playwright who is wondering if anyone has any idea on how to go about starting a theatre group?

Maybe you should start in an established theater group?

Well, it helps if you know theatre people in your area. But you could try an ad in the newspaper, or maybe you get an article in the paper about your being a playwright who want to meet others interested in starting a theatre.
