about how fast will a 6-7hp engine make a go cart go?

That depends on the weight, wheels, axles, etc on the cart. Also what type of motor. I get about 15 mph on a 6 hp briggs and stratton.

YOU HAVE A LITTLE SPROCKET ON THE MOTOR WHICH THE CHAIN GOE,S AROUND OK YOU HAVE ANN OTHER SPROKET ON THE LIVE AXEL IT ALL DEPEND,S ON THE SIZE OF THE SPROKET ON THE AXE. THE MORE TEETH IN THE SPROKET THE FASTER IT WILL GO,IT IS ALL IN THE GEARING.A TWELVE TOOTH SPROKET WILL NO GO AS FAST AS A TWENTY FOUR TOOTH SPROKET.

A lot of it will depend on the gearing and the top rpm of the motor..
