It can be if any of the darks aren't color safe. I would wait until you have more whites even for just a small load.

AKK! No. You run the chance of making your white top dingy-looking. It would be much safer to just hand wash the white top in the sink and then throw it in the dryer with a clean towel or two.
Or, put the all the dirty whites you have in the washer and set it for a small load.

your white top will have a dull look to it by mixing with dark clothes. Either wash the shirt by hand or wait until you have a load of whites.

NEVER mix darks and whites.
You could get colors running into your white clothes and your white's will end up very shabby looking and dull.
Just use the small load setting ( I also have very small) on your washer.

yes. what you can do is put that one (1) white shirt in the sink and soak it, so when you decide to wash it it'll be nice and tidy. put in a cap of ammonia, no bleach(it will eat at the shirt becuz it's just one) and watch how yo' shirt look.

Its not bad, but it won't be as clean looking as it would be if it were done with same color clothes. If you keep doing it , then it will become dingy.
