Trust me, it is very painful. Doctors don't recommend it because it just makes it harder for your stomach to digest. What I recommend is that you just eat some prunes or some Activia. I've had that same problem. Hope that helps :]

I've never had a painful enema in my life. I assume you're talking about the home remedies you buy over the counter.

Not painful at all - and the most thorough constipation remedy out there.
