You should always do suspension parts in twos...both sides, & then you should get a full allignment. That is the safest way to do it.

Absolutely. Even though you haven't moved the jam nut next to the tie-rod end there's no guarranty that the actual the overall swivel length is exactly the same on the replacement. Therefore the toe might be effected. Actually if you can find an allignment shop to check and adjust the toe that's all you need. You haven't changed the caster or camber.
On front wheel drive cars caster and camber adjustments are fairly complex anyway. If need be, special camber plates need to be fitted to the top of the strut towers inside your engine compartment.

loose tie rods can possibly cause damage to tires by way of scouring, scrubbing and cupping due to the tire ,in a small way, flopping back and forth. generally tie rods don't cause vibration in a car unless the are really badly worn out. is it possible you had your tie rods replaced because of misdiagnosis of your vibration in the first place, so that after getting them replaced you still felt the vibration because they weren' the problem? was your problem compounded by the fact that your tie rods came loose because they were installed by the same team that told you they were the problem in the first place? is it possible that you need a new mechanic?

Any time that you do work on the front end or steering linkage you should check your alignment. It is easy and affordable and certainly beats having to buy new tires.

you will definately have to have the toe in set at least, you might as well have it completely aligned as long as it has to be on the alignment rack to set the toe in anyway.
