Does the moonroof on the 2003 Civic slide open AND tilt up?

How does it move?

the moonroof will slide rearward OR tilt the back of the roof up. it will not do both at the same time, that is, you cannot tilt the rear of the roof up and move the roof rearward.

the switch on the dash works the roof rearward when pressed in one direction and operates the tilt function when pressed in the other direction.

hope that answers your question

BE VERY careful! My spouse has a 2001 civic ex with 85000 mile on it. at the instant her transmission thoroughly died, and after doing a splash learn I easily have found out that the seventh era civics from 01 - 04 have had an excellent variety of issues of transmissions. i've got self assurance it incredibly is via clutches no longer retaining out throughout the super long cautioned service periods. i'm at the instant rebuilding mine even though it incredibly is no longer for many folk. in case you have been to have a matching subject you would be watching approximately 2500 for the restore. I recommend keeping off honda throughout those years. in spite of automobile you do purchase substitute the transmission fluid each and every 30000 miles to be on the risk-free part. it can be a methods decrease priced than the alternative.

yes, it slides open or it can be tilted up at the back for venting.
it moves via an electric motor and a switch on the forward part of the headliner (or on the lower left dash)
