Both sides scream "PROOF" please. Neither side has any more proof than the other side. Human with god are lie ants with lighter fluid. Neither knows exactly why they are burning.

There is no need for proof to believe in something. If there was proof of what or whom God is, then everyone could believe it. Whether there is or not, it is the right of a person to believe in something. I believe that there is other life in the universe. I can't prove it. It makes logical sense. I have the right to the belief.

I can prove specific gods are imaginary. Holy books do that quite well. Beliefs, not proof, are involved in ideas and attitudes concerning gods. An agnostic is someone who makes no commitment about whether gods exist or not. Buddha was one, but relatively few other people are. An atheist says no gods at all exist. A polytheist believes in many gods. A monotheist says just one god exists. A henotheist recognizes many gods but serves just one, as Moses did. A pantheist believes in no anthromorphic gods, just a force in nature. A deist says a god created the universe in such a manner that it can operate without him and takes no further part in it. Our main Founding Fathers of the USA were deists, e.g. Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Franklin and Paine.

You wouldn't be convinced if I gave you all the proof in the world. And that takes faith so you do have faith in something. You have faith in something called nothing. Doesn't matter cause all the proof in the world wouldn't convince me there wasn't a God. It's a human instinct. If it wasn't, why on earth does every culture have at least one God???? If there wasn't one where did all these people get this idea for this higher being?

The proof? LOL

First of all God is a different God to many people.

God The Father
God the Creator
or God of Water, Fire, Air and Earth
Buddah
Allah
Mohamed

Which of the many Gods that people worship do you mean?

I believe in the God of Creation. Intelligent Design.

Read about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intelligent_design

Creation and its magnificence is the proof it exists.

Religion is a collage it is built on top of the other so no idea is original. There are many denominations in the monotheist Christainty and they all talk of a higher power. That doesn't neccessarily mean it is God. Some people call Him Allah so they see him through different ways. People believe what they want to believe so why can't you just leave it alone?

Have fatih grasshopper.

If you want proof try this. As you wake up in the morning, get down on the floor on your knees and pray for at least ten minutes. When you get home from school or work, do the same thing. Before going to sleep, do it again. Do this for forty days straight without ceasing.

If you do not see your life change, then you have your answer.

Faith = belief in things unseen.
Proof to people who believe is the actuality of their everyday life. It is hope.
I cannot prove that here is such a thing as thought, I am thinking-can you see it ?
God is an unaccountable fact to some people ,a marvel ---they do not need to see a physical 'thing' to believe that God exists.
God is ---because we see or, believe we see the results of God in our lives, attitudes , actions, behavior and reaction to the behavior or others towards us -and so on.

Just because the theists can't prove there beliefs, that doesn't make them agnostic. That is why it is called a belief system, if it was provable, it would be called a knowledge system. The lack of proof doesn't turn them into agnostics.

the difference is that agnostics admit that, it's their motto. Christians say they can prove there is a god, atheists say that logic proves there isn't. Just because agnostics have it right, doesn't mean everyone else is going to agree. So no, it wouldn't make everyone agnostic.

I have prayed and had my prayers answered. That's proof enough for me, why should I or God have to prove anything to you or anyone else.
