Did they find out any more refs were involved in the scandal? I dont know if this is true or not, but i heard through a friend that there was something like 20 refs found to be involved. That sounds like the end of the NBA to me! whats going on people?

I don't think there are 20 refs involved. But if there was, I think there is a chance David Stern will put this season on hold for a bit. The NBA might even play a shortened season just like 98-99 season. It does seem like a big problem with the officiating. Hopefully they can find some way to fix it. Just like the Joey Crawford and Tim Duncan incident last season.

Tim Donaghy just "claimed" there were 20 other refs involved, but the Ref's Union just announced that Tim Donaghy is the only one associated with the scandal

Those 20 refs were not involved in the scandal of fixing games. Theose refs were in casinos, which is not allowed by NBA rules even just to hit the slots. No NBA ref is allowed in a casino, but none of them were involved in gambling on NBA games and fixing them.

No only one ref has gotten in trouble so far. That doesn't mean there aren't other crooked refs they just havn't caught them yet :) The FBI had been investigating Tim Donahey for like 3 years or something so ya... hes probably not the only one just the first they caught on to.

its nothing new and donaghy is only telling on refs to get a lighter sentence, all convicts of the feds do this historically to avoid a heavy sentence by helping out with other cases
