You should have one of Frank Gore, Shaun Alexander, or Brian Westbrook available there and it depends on how your league is structured.

In a PPR league, I'd lean towards Westbrook, who puts up solid receiving numbers, which will bode well for your fantasy stats.

In a regular league, look at Gore or Alexander. I've seen Shaun slip as far as nine and this guy was the MVP two years ago. Gore has a hand injury, but put up 1,700 yards last season. They both play in a weak defensive division, which is good for your fantasy stats.

It really depends on how well Seattle's offense will bounce back after all its injuries last year. There's an interesting discussion I found on it that you can read below.

Find a site where you can read about what the teams look like for the season, who has moved where and then start mentally making notes about guys who look like they are in better positions and those who may have off seasons. Then, as the draft gets near and you do some serious research, you already have months worth of info stored away, the names aren't new to you and you have a feel where to rank them. The more work you do in the offseason, the less have to do for the draft. Good job. Here's a couple sites I peruse weekly. Also, try the NFL network.

I would look for Shaun Alexander who has fallen a lot in the last year. He would be a steal at #6, but more than likely you would be looking at a Addai, Willie Parker, or even Laurence Maroney. In the second round you have think RB go with Rudi Johnson, Travis Henry or go for a top WR like Steve Smith. It depends a lot on how others draft. Good luck.

Assuming LT, Steven Jackson, Larry Johnson, Frank Gore, Joseph Addai go in the top 5 (if they don't take them with the 6th pick) you can now pick Shaun Alexander, who was a stud every year until he got hurt, Brian Westbrook especially if your league is PPR, Willie Parker who had an insane last year.
Good luck!

First of all, not Vince Young unless you are happy not making the playoffs by drafting overrated/overpaid punks.

Probably Bush, Alexander, or Westbrook will fall around 6th. If Addai or Gore falls that late, grab them instead.

If you don't have your starting RB' and WR's yet then draft to fill them otherwise draft the top QB on the board.

I'll go Joseph Addai or Willie Parker. There both pretty much the same. So whichever one you like best. Both should still be availible !!!
