I don't know any specific plans, but I seriously doubt it. The Gulf Coast has scarcely begun to recover from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, and the multitude of choices made over the years not to be prepared for such a storm, which everyone knew was coming some day. It's a wonderful part of the country, but there's a lot of work left to do to restore it.

Once that's done, and money and attention become available to help bring science to the public, would you increase an already good presence in natural science? Or would you follow the lead of the Smithsonian, and add something in an area of science and technology that is currently not represented? Perhaps the physical sciences and technology?
