I know two of the side effects are drowsiness and dizziness but I want to know if there are any other side effects?

Nausea, vomiting, constipation, lightheadedness, dizziness, drowsiness, flushing, vision changes, or mental/mood changes may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: slow/irregular breathing, slow/irregular heartbeat, change in the amount of urine. If you do not have liver problems, the adult maximum dose of acetaminophen is 4 grams (4000 milligrams). If you take more than the maximum daily amount, it may cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. Tell your doctor immediately if you have any of the following symptoms of liver damage: severe nausea, yellowing eyes or skin, dark urine, stomach pain, extreme fatigue. An allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

The most frequently observed adverse reactions include lightheadedness, dizziness, sedation, shortness of breath, nausea, and vomiting. These effects seem to be more prominent in ambulatory than in non-ambulatory patients, and some of these adverse reactions may be alleviated if the patient lies down. Other adverse reactions include allergic reactions, euphoria, dysphoria, constipation, abdominal pain, and pruritus.
At higher doses, codeine has most of the disadvantages of morphine including respiratory depression.
Ever heard of purple drank? often misused as a way to get intoxicated....

I actually just took this yesterday after a minor procedure... I didnt know I was allergic to it til this morning when I woke up with a horrendous rash all over my body. It's horrible! I am going to the doctor's in the morning to see if there is something to make the swelling go down -- I am absolutely miserable & Benadryl & anti-itch lotions aren't working. Good luck if you decide to take it -- never again for me.

The only side effect I've ever had after taking this med is just knocks me out and I sleep for hours on end. But the ones you listed are the primary ones.

Liver damages, if you use it with alcohol is even worse.
If you have pain is better to treated with another form of medicine like acupuncture or cold laser therapy. This way you will never have any side effects. www.foywellnesscenter.com
