I sincerely hold the belief that I am at the centre of the universe and that everything around me - people, places, planets, sensations, oceans, galaxies, activities, smells, sound, love, hate - is all revolving around me as the central focal point.

I have believed this all of my life but recently doubt has found a path into my soul and I have been wondering if this is not true and maybe I am suffering from delusions of grandeur or narcicissism.

Anyone else feel like this?

I have never been spoilt. I was brought up in poverty. When I was only 18 I was virtually on my own in the world until I was 23.

My Grandmother had a machine called a 'mangle.' It was a contraption which involved a handle and a number of geared wheels which all fitted together in a way which made two rubber coated wooden rollers to turn in opposite directions in order to squeeze water from the just done washing.

No wheel was of any greater importance than any of the others ~ none were 'The Central One' for it to function.

To test your theory out, imagine if you were 'gone,' vanished in a puff of smoke, deceased even. Would the world stop turning? Would love cease to be? Would bees stop pollinating flowers? Would the weather cease to be what it is and does ~ and the plant growth and harvests come to a grinding halt?

Listen to your doubt and see your grandeur for what it is.....

....Then go back to taking your medications.

Sash.

If someone else does feel like it then you both must be wrong! Maybe you are the 2nd coming, but you haven't realised it yet. Try going into a desert for 40 days and 40 nights and do not eat. You may have an awakening that will be most profound. If you walk out of the experiance with out eating or giving in to temptation for those 40 days/nights AND you have an idea on how to save our planet then you are most likely to be the massiah, if not then you will probably have found yourself by then and should have gotten over your delusions.

Any way, good luck with it all, and if you are God, come and visit me! Being God you should be able to find me pretty easily!

There is nothing wrong with you if you are two years old.

Otherwise, you need to get over yourself. Try volunteering for a cause that you can believe in. Maybe helping someone who is living in poverty as you were will make you think of others for a change.

Maybe just try to think of the person standing next to you as the center. This puts you very near the center, but not the most important thing. Imagine life from his or her perspective. How would it feel to not be you?

that's no longer good, although what ever absolutely everyone says you are able to't precisely settle for it. If i'm no longer actual then my opinion would not remember. No ones opinion remember if this is actual. Are you fairly happy having anybody wait on you hand and foot and each little thing is barely based upon in basic terms you? no one else? You on my own? I do in a manner comprehend what the sensation you have is barely no longer truly as severe. the sensation which you are the sole one which would be there. you spot your physique yet no longer your face so it provides the guy a distinctive theory approximately issues. it truly is a complicated seem on life yet you should turn it around. significant component is- manage different the sort you elect to be dealt with

You should check out Scientology. It is a religion that is dedicated to people like yourself who believe that they are the centre of the universe. Especially if they're wealthy.

I personally don't put a lot of faith in scientology, but from how you're describing yourself and your personal beliefs, it's probably a good fit for you.

You might also consider the possibility of the universe being centered around something other than yourself, as an alternative.

You are not the center of the universe. You are just an imperfect person with flaws just like everyone else.
The fact that you think that everything focuses on you is, in itself, a flaw.

Well, luckily there is a quick test.
Are there any objects orbiting you right now?
Are you omnipotent?
Are galaxies rapidly accelerating away from you?
and finally,
Is your name Steven Segal?

If you answered yes to all the questions, you may proceed as normal.

It's true. You are the centre of the universe. So am I. Think about it, when you die it's the end of the world and the universe. DB

We are each the center of our own universe, each of which interacts with all the others to some degree depending on what we perceive.
