Where are you??

It's rainy & flooding here in Mid-Ohio. I don't mind the rain... but not THIS MUCH!!!

If you're watching The Weather Channel at all today... you'll see! I am not far from the 2 towns they've been showing flooding footage from.

Yesterday I saw a local ball park flooded out so much the ad signs on the fence were floating at an angle.

Ok, I know, that's not as bad as what Mexico is getting. My thoughts & prayers are with them! :)

As you know we are down here in Sunny Texas. We had all that rain in June and July too with some severe flooding within 40 miles of us but nothing right here. Today it was beautiful blue skies, mid 90's and lots of big cumulous clouds but no rain in the immediate forecast. It is sad when so much rain comes down at once that it causes flooding but it seems like maybe homes should not be built in areas that have the potential for flooding. There are plenty of open spaces throughout the midwest and homes and mobile home parks should be built on land above the flood plain.

I live in Baton Rouge, its pretty nice but very crowded nowadays due to the migration of so many people from New orleans after Hurricane Katrina. So the traffic is horrible and crime is way up. Still, I don't think its too bad a place to live because there are a lot of very friendly people here and a lot of fun things to do.

I live in Northern Wisconsin, there's been a drought all year and Lake Superior is 3 feet under the average level. It's usually cold with lots of snow in the winter but last year we only got about 4 feet total

Whoa. you sound frustrated. But down where I live, we be out playin streetball, but its so hot today. Im getting a freakin tan and Im alreadt tanned enough from yesterday. babies everywhere, little kids throwing rocks at houses, its fun though. I do it too. Spying, and people is so overlyconcerned about what goes on in the community. Its scary. Its ridiculous. Do you get it? I live in a big and beautiful community with big houses and parks and schools and stuff in them with people who wants it so perfect.

Chicago. It has been raining for a week. I am kind of sick of it. I do love a good storm. I like it here, even the horrible winters. I am sick of living in the city though, I want to get back to the suburbs.

I wish we were getting some rain , we havent had any at all. Our grass looks like hay and we have had a problem with fires.........U.P of Michigan. In the winter we get tons of snow dumped on us its crazy...I am talking ....300+ inches . Other than that its a pretty swell place to live.

It's ok out here in Tucson, AZ. It's too hot, but should cool down soon. I WISH that we had some of your rain.

I grew up in OH (Findlay) and remember the rain and mud quite well. :)
