like when you drop it off with a dropper what's the approximate volume of that drop?

well, it depends on the liquid. some liquid's molecules are closer to each other than other liquid's , making them stay close together . the closer the molecules stay togethre, the bigger a single drop would be. in terms of water, maybe a single drop would be around 0.1 ml.
