Typically, the density will decrease as the volume of the object increases with temperature.

This is not always the case. For example, the density of water increases as it changes from solid ice to liquid water.

For most of the materials, the volume increases and density decreases. A few exceptions are :water below 4 degrees C and Cast iron, if my memory does not fail me.

Things expand when they are heated. So the volume increases but the mass does not. The density decreases.

It will expand and so become less dense because there will be less molecules /cc
