Is the name Miki for male or female?

Depends on pronunciation. Mie-Kee (hear the I)would be more male but I have heard a couple females with that name. Mih-Kee (short I like in lip) would definitely be a girls name and I went to school with a girl name Mickey, her real name was actually Michelle but she liked Mickey. Regardless I think it's a REALLY cute name.

Girl.

Imagine the humility of shaking hands while in a business transaction with a guy named Miki....sounds like you should let him dance in front of your kids in a mouse costume.

For female, of course. If he's a boy and his name is Miki, he will be definitely teased by his friends, school-mates, etc. For a boy, Rain or Ryan or Damian is better.

I'd say that given the way it's spelled, definitely female. Even with Mickey - doesn't sound very 'manly' unless you're talking about Mickey Rourke or something.

It seems more female to me . . . but really it's neutral enough that it could be used for a male. Not always, but in general names that end in a vowel seem more feminine.

To me, names that end in "i" are typically female--Keli, Kali, Anni, Jenni, Luci, etc.
But it can be a unisex/male name with a change in spelling: Mickey/Mikky, Mikey.
