Typically around minimum wage, or slightly higher. $7-$9 an hour to start is common, subject to the area and dealership.

Most get about $7 an hour. Porters usually DO the washing of the cars. Other duties may cover bringing the repaired auto out to the owner when complete and doing general running around for the mechanics or salesmen.
