The best film Ive seen this year is a film made in 1999 that i never knew existed until i stumbled across it on a web site, it's called What becomes of the broken hearted, and is a sequel to the cult classic Once Where Warriors made in 1994.
Nothing better than finding a great movie out of the blue.

I thought that Pan's Labyrinth was a fantastic film, too. I was late seeing Apocalypto so only caught it on DVD this year; but that was so compelling; one of the best films I have seen in ages. Even if Mel Gibson is an ****.

In theatres I would say Superbad or The Bourne Ultimatum.

Breach, Hot Fuzz, Catch and Release, Ratatouille, Disturbia, and Bridge to Terabithia would also be on my list.

Superbad! I like it because, sure, it's perverted and nasty but it's unlike those other films that portray all teenagers as horny and brainless creatures. This is really comedy! I think anyone can enjoy this....from start to finish. It gets a bit slow in the beginning but the characters do an amazing job.
