As per my personal experience most of the people do not understand me and due to which I feel very bad.

Good question. For this self assessment is needed. We have to be aware of our likes and dislikes,our mental blocks, the mode of our thinking etc is very important. Once we know our self then its important to know something about the other person/s we are communicating with. Then we can make ourselves understood better. There are certain things about our self which others know and there are certain things we know about our self. In the first case we have listen carefully to the feed back in whatever it is conveyed. In the 2nd situation we need to convey about our self to others. In this way can effectively communicate with people and reduce the communication gap. Then our expectations from people also has to be clear. If we are not clear on what we want from the other person there is a possibility of misunderstanding.There is more to this..for now this might help you.

Why do you think that people don't understand you? that is what you are expecting from others why don't you think that other also expect same from you, first of all you try to understand the people and their feelings and latter you feel your this complaint towards people was nothing but a childish thought.

nobody understands nobody...
they always understands acc. to their theory,,,while the first person is saying from diffrent base.
i dont knw is there any need to make people understand.

It is next to impossible to make others understand you. Better remain misunderstood by others and keep your mind at the Lotus Feet of God. After many years of doing so, people may praise you, if not understand you.

It happens when your level of intelligence is more than others. You may not be interested in common topics whay others speak and kill their time. Better find some one who have similar interests and can mingle with others. Through him you can convince others or get alongwith others.

the ones i love understand me and for me, is all that counts, i make myself very clear and understood...the rest mean nothing to me, it matters not whether they understand me or not, for they are not in my life and are also not wanted there

under stand yrself... when u try to do that... u under stand others also.. and u get back d same in return... but be true to yrself...
