Love is all encompassing and boundless. It's free. The only "rule" would be to love others in a manner by which you would want to be loved.

I do not think that neither or, are true, when Love happens to anyone, there are no set rules, or does Love follow rules I ,would say no.

To answer the question does love set rules or follow rules. Well that is a question that I think the answer lies in whom ever asks it.
Love to me follows no rules and sets none. It is a power far beyond the comprehension of man. I think if you believe that love has rules or sets them you limit yourself to feeling and experiencing what boundary you set yourself.
I want to believe that love is the one thing in this world of order that is not governed by a preset order. I want to believe that love is above any type of rule.
If it did follow or set rules I think it would set and follow one. Limitless....
