Very good question.

It's Phil Niekro and Steve Carlton. With the 1987 Indians, Carlton saved an early season game for Niekro by mopping up against the Blue Jays:

Of this record, i could ought to pass with Warren Spahn. it incredibly is under no circumstances Nolan Ryan, between the main hyped up pitchers of all time, regardless of what Don Antonio and a few others think of. curiously, there are 4 non-HOF pitchers in this record-Glavine, Johnson, Maddux and Clemens. watching the electorate, Roger Clemens could substitute into the only member of the 300 win club to no longer be enshrined in Cooperstown.

I think it has to be Ryan and Seaver, since I think they're almost the only combination that were teammates, apart from Maddux and Glavine who both have zero career saves.

hmm good question.
It could be Ryan and Seaver- In 1968-70 each were on the Mets, in '68 Seaver recorded a save, and Ryan did in 69' and 70'. So that's a possibility.
