What are the procedures to make a plant water filter?
It's for our science investigative project
our aim is to find out which plants are more effective in filtrating water.

That sounds like a very good project! It's a technology that is easily distributed and can be used on a small scale, with side benefits. The references below show some methods currently used, but I suspect algae isn't what you're thinking of. There's also Biological Aerated Filtration (BAF), but I doubt that would be suitable for a class project.

When I did a recent research project on 'grey-water', the main plants that were being used for filtration were reed beds.

whats a plant water filter ( its probably what it sounds like ) cuz im kinda young so ive never heard of it
