In my area, many dogs regularly *** and ***** (i'm a witness) and lick my neighbors' windows. Of course, that kind of behavior makes me furious, but mysteriously, clovers grow on the ground exposed to dog secretions. So my question is, precisely, what kind of relationship stands between the chemical components in a dog's organism and the prerequisites for a clover to grow?

well- first there has to be seed. Dogs don't sh#t clover seeds.

Dog waste weakens grasses by desiccating it's roots. The clover takes advantage of the weakness in the grass (and the availability of the little bit of nutrient that exists in the waste) that the poop and pee creates and takes the opportunity to grow.

that kind of behavior infuriates me, too!
