for my A level art project the theme is 'revealed & concealed' - i don't have a clue what to do to follow this idea

i've looked at artists such as jackson polloc, andy goldsworthy, david johnson, verushka, rachel whiteread, christo & magritte

i really just need unusual and experimental ideas for the project. so far i have got pig hoofprints on canvas, lots of random ink blots on big sheets of paper and worked into, work with water & light

any ideas will be great! =] please please help....i'm not the best at coming up with ideas but i can draw and paint etc

thank you x x x x x x x x x

you have to think what really interests you. As we don't know you we don't know what interests you.
You can approach this project in a fairly literal fashion, you can think about boxes, doors or flaps to open, you can make it humorous (where the concealed part when revealed make the whole a joke...). Sit down and think, if somebody wants you to hide either an object or a secret, what would you do. Brainstorming with a piece of paper would indeed be helpful here. For me it often works much better with a friend or two.

You could also deal with various sociological issues, our present inclination to ignore death, integration problems minorities or handicapped people have, problems with still existant slave labor. Basically any problem which most of the time nobody really talks about. You could contrast various attitudes there.
And then of course you can combine the two approaches which I think would be best.

Take a large piece of paper.

Relax, get into a creative mood.

Write down every idea that you can think of. At least 20 words, but for an art project, I would say 50 might be your target.

Write down good ideas, bad ideas, crazy ideas, half formed or impossible ideas.

Then go away, come back later. Look at what you have got.

Combine ideas that go together.

Cross out stupid ideas.

Eventually select around 3 good ideas.

Then play around with these ideas, do some basic sketches. Take the one idea that really works.

This approach works for Computer projects, art projects, writing projects and well solving any seemingly impossible problem.

go out into the world. Watch people & nature. Find what is cool that everyone else is missing. Sometimes you can use something mundane to make something awesome.
