Okay, these are things I saw on a TV show on the educational channel a long time ago.
Human hair. They hate it. Sticks to their fur somehow and makes them itch. The man said to take a clump of hair and put it down in their little tunnels.
Peppermint Oil. Available at health food stores. They're supposedly allergic to it and will leave. Soak a cotton ball in it and put it in their tunnels.
Juicy Fruit Gum. This one's not very nice...but it seems like it would work. I can't remember if you're supposed to chew it a couple of minutes or just put the stick of gum in the tunnels. Either way, it clogs up their digestive tract and they die.
There's also supposedly some kind of electronic device on a stake that you put around your yard that chases them away. I'd check hardware stores if you want that.
---------
Edit: By the way, I live in SC and these were suggested for here, so it can't be that different for you.

A moles main food source is Grubs. Treat the yard for Grub removal and the Moles will also leave. No food, no Moles.
