I'm at 21 weeks and I'm still looking like the friggin Elephant MAN! My face has turned 13 years old again! Its horrible. But its something you can't change. Its for the most part horomonal. Its said that for the most part you should NOT use topical cremes or oral meds for acne. Try washing your face with mild soap & warm water, NO wash clothes! Try washing with just your finger tips, its a hard habit to break I know, but worth it...dab your face dry instead of scrubbing. Give it like 2 weeks or so and try to eat a healthy diet as well. Don't get too down, if you do perhaps talking to your OB or a counselor would help? Good Luck!

Honey, I am going to seriously recommend that you make an appointment to see your doctor and when you do, tell her how you feel.

I know you REALLY do not feel this way and it is the hormones talking, but you need to talk to your doctor, you need to be positive and healthy, it is not good for you and the baby, I felt so beautiful when I was pregnant, I never wanted it to end!!! Neither did my baby she was supposed to be born July 4th, but she came July 12th, I enjoyed every minute of it!!

Pregnancy is a beautiful thing that could ever happen to a woman!!!

It is normal to feel icky on some days, but not all the time, be happy and thrilled that you are carrying, and nurishing your child and you have a precious baby growing in your belly!!!

If you feel "negative" about the pregnancy, talk to your doctor, your baby inside of you can feel all of this negative energy, and it is not good for you or your child.

Please talk to your doctor!

Yes.. I feel fat and greasy. Its worse when you go to the mall or something with friends or even your man and you see all the skinny girls walking around showing off their goodies. It makes you more spiteful, I never dressed like that, But damnit the way I feel right now I would like too. I cant wait to put on jeans... Or a tank top. But my body will be screwed and I have no idea when I will ever be able to wear a bikini again.

Later in pregnancy, the few weeks before delivery, yeah. But in all honesty pregnancy is beautiful and the pregnant body is amazing.

Obviously you're not going to look like a sexy linx or something, but you do look beautiful.

Just enjoy it. Dont fight the belly, work with it.

I disagree. I gave birth to my son about 3 months ago and I miss being pregnant! I gained 30 lbs but it was ALL in my tummy. My face got a little fuller, but that was it. I had that nice "glow" and I was a lot happier (or so people said) ...but then again, when I remember the achy hips, the waddling when my baby finally dropped, and the inability to bend down...I'm sort of glad I'm back to my normal self now.

Yes, I felt the same way many times during my pregnancies...but there were times that I felt and looked good and happy too..hopefully it will happen to you eventually.

Hah, YES!! I'm on #3 and feel awful, not "glowing". However, the old wive's tale say that "girls steal their mother's beauty", so maybe you're having a girl??? I definitely looked worse for #2, and it was a girl.

Sorry to say, but I dont feel that way at all. I have loved nearly every minute of it. Now at 36 weeks, I wouldnt take back one single week for anything.
