wats to oppose in this deal!!!? India is definitely getting the bigger piece of the cake on this. This deal will only open up nuclear fuel trade and this is what is much needed for india to sustain its economic growth. Why are people so stubborn, closeminded and always crying for more than their share. So what if india doesnt get to test its weapons just like the US. There are bigger and more important problems to be confronted first you know... like the 700 million people still living under the poverty line.

Most people here think they are more intelligent than our honorable PM who was the architect of indias economical reforms. I am sure that he is doing what is in the best interests of the country. He is a sincere, noble man unlike most ugly indian politicians of today who only care about filling their own pockets at the cost of millions.

What we have to see is not the economical, commercial or financial aspects, but the "life on earth". A dealing between two or three nations, that may affect the people, should be offended and if that won't affect, but, for strengthening the tie, should be supported. The fame of a nation depends on the people and not the Administrators, which is the clear example of our India and its heritage. People rules themselves, not the administrators over the people. The deal or treaty are done by and for the people, not for me or you, and me is not merely a 'soldier' of the nation, but something more.

The bomb became India from a 0.33 international sob tale to a international capacity. subsequently, the Indo-American Nuclear deal. This deal makes India an equivalent procuring and merchandising companion to the western countries. If Saddam incredibly had the bomb the US would not have invaded Iraq. No ask your self, Iran and N. Korea choose the bomb so badly.

Yes, as it not only takes away India's right to testing nuclear bombs, but makes no restrictions on other neighboring countries like China/Pakistan, which have there own nuclear programs. In addition, when the U.S. reserves the right to continue testing for it's own military pruposes, I don't see why India should stop. Indians made their nuclear program without America's help, and we can continue to do so if we get smart, hardworking people together. By the way, your question is in the wrong category.

I would wonder first what strings are attached if I said yes to the deal? Then I would look for alternate source before saying yes.
