I have ever met! We saw the movie I Pronounce You Chuck and Larry and all of them hated it because it was too "vulgar." I mean come on - I loved it, I wasn't expecting an oscar winning preformance but it made me laugh and cry. Hey, I got to get away from watching the kids all day & SAHM duties!
I made the mistake of saying Oh I though Adam Sandler was cute in that movie and they all just stared at me in silence!
Maybe it's because I am the youngest one (28) and they are all in their late 30s or so. I'm wondering and SCARED, is this what I'm going to become? Is this how it is? They had absolutely no charisma, excitement, nothing! They had nothing to talk about except for visiting kids museums and doing back to school shopping I mean come on!!
Besides their attitude, they literally looked like they got out of bed. Messy hair and in sweats! Not to be mean is this part of why men feel like all the romance and excitement has died in their marriage and start to stray?

That sounds like something that happened to me a while back. I went to this Moms Group gathering and lets just say that I was not welcomed there. These women, whoever they are, give the rest of us mothers a terrible name. They were the most unfunny dullest group of women ever.
And when I mentioned that my son wasn't breastfed...well my god..you would have assumed I was putting poison into his baby bottle.
Oh well....

I think you unfortunately ended up with a bunch of boaring old farts, who have no clue of what fun is, I'm 44 and I have friends of all ages and we crack up (with laughter) when we get together. Maybe you could get together with a bunch of your friends and have a girly day/night out, or advertise for certain age group...but I have met some younger people than myself who have no clue of what fun is...=) Your future is what you make it and I'm sure you won't be like them, also your right on the point of why men stray and look for a younger version. =))
Are you in the Phoenix area? I'm here for two more weeks and I'm as bored as **** (seems like yahoo have deleted my word begining with A..=)) and I could do with some fun/laughter until BF comes home. ...LOL

I'm sure not all of these groups are that way. Perhaps you should try to find another with people you find more fun and interesting? Or maybe you can find a group that has more people closer to your age group with similar interests? Hope you find something that makes you happy!

OMG...you need to find a more exciting group to join. I'm in a couple of groups and our Mom's night outs are a blast...Sorry about your experience!

Oh NO, not a MOMS club...First of all, all they are going to talk or complain about are the KIDS, HUSBAnds, home, etc. find a hobby.

Women like that sit around and complain in high pitched nasal tones that they cant figure out why their husbands dont find them appealing any more.
