I don't have to people do that for me. It use to upset me but then I figured I'd rather have them throw it out than use it unknowingly, not knowing what they used it for!

I throw out and replace our families toothbrushes at the start of each month. If any of us happen to get a cold or virus of any kind, the old toothbrush is disposed of then as well and replaced.

Also, ours are located on the farthest side of the sink, away from the toilet. Whenever the toilet is flushed, the lid should be closed to keep the bacteria and germs from flying all over the bathroom. Otherwise those germs that were in the toilet could be covering your toothbrush!! That's not a very pleasant thought!

Hope this gave you enough info!! : )

I usually throw away the toothbrush when it shows a little black colour things or you call it dirt. Usually 1 year. It depends on where you keep it too. Dirty bathroom will makes it to have dirt faster and easier. Hmmm....After i throw it away, i immediately go and buy the new one...

I usually throw it out about every month or so. Even earlier if either I get over a cold or something, or it just feels like it's not cleaning well enough (bristles are flimsy or stuff) Or when those blue bristles start fading.
