Sings a song and dances for his dinner,

Perched upon the porch, Grackle cackling,
Pecks away at paint and cracked up spackling…

He is back! He is back!

The poetry forum has not been the same without you. I love this last line: "Pecks away at paint and cracked up spackling". Don't understand all the words, but am going to look them up immediately.

Glad to see you here again TD. It makes me think of a lot of big city street performers. I like Grackle cackling a lot. It has a good sound to it.
