Yes. Al-Maliki has failed to produce any results addressing at the very least political reconciliation amongst the many factions and sects within Iraq. He does little to calm Iraqis' concerns about Shi'a militias, as well as Sunni insurgents, by not taking a tougher stand to crack down on them.

Al-Maliki also seems a bit too friendly with Iran's hardline gov't and Syrian Baathists. This does not bold well at all for reconstruction and political reconciliation efforts. However, there is little chance of any opposition ousting him from office as there are not enough votes to do so. Even if they managed to pull of such a feat, there will be a tough time finding a replacement gov't: one that is NOT directly connected to Islamist groups nor American special interests.

It is not up to us to change this regime, since the Iraqis have voted for it in a legal election they can change it. I think it would be beneficial to them to change but that is out of my control. I do think it will happen though due to the success the military is showing and how the politicians are frittering every victory away.

It is time for regime change in Iraq. When are soldiers are dying for the Iraqi government, the government is on a month long vaction.

It is not only regime change time for Iraq, but America as well.

Yes, Bush should be replaced by at least a more benevolent and practical dictator. This man has given the nation of Iraq to the terrorists on a silver platter. He has no common sense, no wit, no good, but all lies and deceptions. It is a disgrace that the REGIME of terror rules Iraq by the presidents right hand.

Even though I do not have intimate knowledge about what is going on over there it seems the new government is pretty weak. It may be time to look at alternatives to strengthen the central government so we can seriously consider a reasonable timetable to get out of there.

Apparently the Iraqi regimes will need to be changed every other year or so until someone gets it right...

Very cute pic, Miss "Top Contributor"

Many people were critical of going into Iraq. More were critical of staying in Iraq. You want US to change who the leader is of Iraq??
How much longer will we be there if that is the case?

I think the Iraqi people need to change their own "regime" - we (The U.S.) need to stop playing "World Cop" long enough to take care of the problems we have right here at home
