It's so frustrating that we can't star more than 100 questions/day, with so many interesting ones!!
Thank you for your answer! :)
Have a wonderful day/night! :)

Before you say, I know the "official" answer, "the system can't support so much, the site would be cluttered..."
But only 100??

cconsaul - You can use the watch list for that. I put the questions I want to go back to, for any reason, at my watch list, including many that I don't star, because I don't like them, but want to see the answers they get.

Polly - Thank you, you too, have a great afternoon! :)
I'm thinking you all could send to me the stars you don't use, and I'd give them away... :)

You said it well. It is really your nature to be generous. I agree with you. Rules are set and we are bound to follow it. How we wish to give the stars they deserve. But is is nice to have a moon after one reached a certain number of stars. Would it not be wonderful.

The stars are limited, but the feedback you can give for a question or answer is not. I have sometimes made a new friend by emailing them over a question or answer that either caused me to rethink an opinion or some that just made my day. Some have actually received an email because I see they a going through a trying time. Stars are limited, but thoughtfulness has no boundaries!
Edit: This is Eagle Woman with a temporary fish tail. I wanted to be the figurehead of the pirate shop that was supposed to set sail. Those pirates need to get it together! This mermaid get-up is worse than a girdle.

I guess it all depends on what you are using those stars for. I use the stars as a reference, so I can get back to a question I am likely to use again. If I give out stars to every question, I would never find the ones I need to help somebody. I can give thumbs ups and it doesn't affect my ability to find those questions, but stars can be powerful tools for those common questions that seem to be asked almost every day, but are equally frustrating for those who haven't found their answer yet.
(I'll be completely honest with you. I've never quite figured out how to use the watch list. I guess that makes me a dumb bunny - gulp -)

Hi Moon,
Your question proves what we all already know: you have a truly generous nature. If 100 is all they can allocate each day and not all of us use our quota, maybe they could devise some sort of 'share system' but then what do we trade stars for? Maybe not such a good idea! I'll put my thinking cap back on!
Have a great afternoon,
Polly

Although, it is definitely a good wish, but limits have got to be set even to all good things. That's what keeps the balance in everyday life!
Rest assured, the system has immensely much more capacity, than what you have stated, in the question above.
