i've been trying to conceive and i just wanted to ask if i need to have prescription fr my OB if I were to start taking vit E, or folic acid to aid conception?

you don't need any prescription, just go to the store and buy it! make sure you don't overdo vitamin E though!

First of all folic acid and vitamin E don't aid conception. They are just excellent for a new baby's brain and spinal cord development and taking them before you are pregnant is an excellent idea to prevent birth defects in a newly formed fetus.

Taking one pre-natal vitamin a day should give you all the folic acid and vitamin E you need and you can get that over the counter.

Not necessary. however i take wellwoman vitamins pills it has the required dosage of folic acid that will aid pregnancy.

however you can still see your doctor to prescribe since body type differ

No you don't, but make sure you are taking the correct dosage. Ask your doctor anyway to make of this or check with your pharmacist or chemist (not the girl at the front counter). Good luck

No, they are sold otc. I would however go to a healthfood or vitamin store to buy them, just so you know that you are getting a pure form.
