it depends. not all private/public schools use one company and state schools schools use another, there are loads of maths textbooks, and in most cases schools will use a different company for each ability set and year, depending on how advanced the book and how it explains it. whereas GCSE sets all over the country will buy from the exam boards because it will have what they need in it.

Nope, schools dont all use the same textbook. It depends on the exam board they are studying for.
Even within the same school, books may be different, as there may be different groups where some kids learn faster and easier than others.

Schools can choose from a wide range of text books relevant to the exam system that they are affiliated with. And budget constraints!

they would use different textbooks because the level/standard to pupils at each school is different so they would have to use appropriate textbooks...anyway, private schools would just use posher versions of the same textbook used by poorer schools of the same standard...

Every school chooses which exam board they'd like to use, every exam board has their own text books.
