I heard that the whole term "born again virgin" can actually be a real thing. If the girl doesn't have sex for a period of time her hymen will grow back makin her like a virgin again; is this true???

Do you really want to become a born again virgin? Your hymen will never grow back once it has been penetrated. You can go for long periods without sex and your vaginal walls will grow tighter, or say shrink, but that piece of layer that protects it, will never be able to grow back.

Check out this website on hymens.

The hymen is a thin membrane that surrounds the vaginal opening. It only partially blocks the opening. Hymens come in many different shapes and sizes, but should never block the vaginal opening completely. It is possible that a woman's hymen will never break and there are women who are born without a hymen. If the hymen was whole at one point and torn, then it will not grow back.

Does Hymen Grow Back

The term 'grow back' is oxymoron. You want to know how long does it take for a woman's hymen to grow again (if at all that is possible). The answer is there is no way the hymen can grow again.

In some rare situations when the hymen is only partially torn and not fully ruptured, it can heal. Another possibility is that a surgeon can suture some flesh at the site where the hymen was once located to create and artificial hymen. That is the best and I am afraid there is nothing better than that.

in the beginning, a hymen -- or a scarcity thereof -- isn't evidence helpful of virginity. Secondly, i do no longer care if she lives to be 132 years previous, a hymen will in no way develop back. 0.33, do no longer you have something extra powerful to do which contain some time than to ask asinine questions like this? on an identical time as i will relish a unusual humorousness, yours does not even physique of suggestions something that could desire to grant up a smirk. thank you for the two, nevertheless.

You get one. You're born with it.
Once it's gone, it's gone.
I think you are referring to the abstract thought process that if a woman doesn't have s*x for 7 years, she can consider herself a virgin again for emotional purposes... as if to say, it will have been so long it will feel like the first time all over again.
I do understand your question, though. Sometimes young girls lose their hymen to molestation/etc.. and wish for nothing more than to have it back to have that first time over with someone they truly love.
Unfortunately, short of plastic surgery ( which these days seems to be able to do pretty much anything )... it can't happen.

No definitely not. Your hymen doesn't grow back but it may get tighter if you aren't sexually active for a while. Once you have sex for the first time, you will never be a true virgin again

not true. The hymen doesn't grow back. Your vagina will get tighter if you don't have sex for a while but you won't be a true virgin again.

It will NEVER grow back. There are surgical procedures that can reattach it http://www.gnn.tv/headlines/14124/The_Truth_Behind_Muslim_Revirginization_Procedures, but a VIRGIN is someone who has NEVER had SEXUAL INTERCOURSE. The hymen really doesn't have much to do with it.

Once you have intercourse you are not a virgin and will never be a virgin again. You can substain from sex, but you will always be a virgin.

Unfortunately, the hymen will never recover to its orignal state. In Eastern countries, they do perform a surgical procedure on females that is considered a female circumcision, essentially closing her vagina off; this is usually done at a young age before the female even has a chance to lose her virginity. Some countries have outlawed the practice, so now it is done behind closed doors.
