can we have a bit of gender equality in news and events please . . . ?

This week some of the ladies on here have been up for a right bashing (me included). None of it justified but hey ho each to their own. BUT why has it only been the ladies?
Why have I not seen posts/avatars to the tune of dave s is a **** or jack h is a **** or shambo is a **** I am not saying anyone is anything but its hardly fair to attack those that haven't posted shite and by that shambo, I am referring to you - you even attacked someone on a nice 'Un McCann' related post of mine which I thought was rude.

Now I'm not saying you should attack them cos I don't think there is a need for that (dave and jack whilst a bit 'out there' for some people have never struck me as being rude to anyone) but it just struck me as very odd that the women alone got all the shite . . .

any comments anyone? men? what's going on here?

I saw that from brnelscooby and was disgusted even though she and I haven't always agreed on everything thats normal and shambo was effing rude on my post last night about her labour.

scorpionbabe you're right absolutely, people have vehemently disagreed with dave and called him a 'paedo-peddler' (yeah WTF!!??) but what the women have endured is on a whole other level and I don't get why!!

Hi barbie

To attack someone annonymously is a cowardly thing to do.

To attack only women in the hope of having a bigger impact is a cowardly thing to do.

The fact that it s only women being attacked should at least give an indication as to the sex of the attackers.

Afetr all, if ti was a woman doing it, we all know that women will attack anyone irrespective of sex. Lol.

Ad you are right, there should be no attacks and everyone should use their real names and only be allowed 1 account

It reminds me of being back in school to be honest. I laugh most of it off but the abuse brunelscooby had yesterday in an answer to a pregnancy question really made me go nuts!! I know women can be bitchy but come on, that was well out of order! I was advised to abort my baby (I'm 7 months pregnant) in an answer a few days back, these people really do have something missing from their lives that makes them bitter and twisted.

I think some of these people are men using female avatars, just trying to hide their identities even more.

Just me hit the nail on the head i reckon.
I have been doing a little detective work of my own. Trolls trip up, and i have seen it!!

I reckon theres about 4 people here, either working alone or together to bully others. 2 are female, 1 is male and I havent worked out the fourth one yet but I will!!!

hi barbie, to tell you the truth it may well be a female doing all this crap, i have met some very nice people in here, and they may well have been abused in here.
it may well be the old green eyed monster, maybe there is some female out in here just simply jealous of the popularity of other females.

Mmmm. Next they'll be clubbing us round the heads and dragging us off to their caves!
Maybe it's because us women go into more detail in our posts and people can't be bothered to read them so they just come up with anything.

Good point you made there Barbie. Things are way out of control here. The insults that are flying are terrible. If someone doesn't want to answer a question properly then they shouldn't answer at all.

I have seen Dave S and a few other males attacked in answers and questions but I have to agree the most aggressive and spiteful attacks seem to be directed at the female users. I think a lot of it is down to personal grudges and people taking sides that seems to of escalated a lot of the spats. The trolls seem to thrive on it so try to goad both sides to carry on the arguments.

Edit* I believe the abuse is directed at the female users from other females. We all know how vicious woman can be when they feel attacked. I wish it could all stop though as it does spoil it for everyone.

EDIT* Barbie that would depend on what you think I am saying? I don’t have a hidden message in my words. I have just been observing the spats and it is mainly the female users against other female users in my opinion.

As for Shambo, don't be concerned about what he writes, he directs personal abuse without any consideration for the person it is aimed at.

Barbie, I will give you my answer from a real man perspective. I know alot of guys on here will slaughter me for this but who cares.
Men who follow women around and attack them verbally is doing it for one of two reasons;
a. They are incapable of holding down a relationship and blame women not themselves.
b. They have small willies!.

I think it is ridiculous what is going on in the past couple of weeks. I have seen several long time members who have not abused anyone be on the receiving end of what can only be described as harrasment.

I saw a post from Brunelscooby which showed when she asked advice about her labour she was abused about her views on the McCanns. She had asked it in the Pregnancy section and everything!
