yes, i think so, at my job, i often drive employees from one location to another, while i research the route, and know where i am going, and this impresses my supervisor, i find its better to consult with the other employees, get them involved by expressing my thoughts, such as "is this a better route, does that sign mean turn here" etc etc it makes it a group event, the trip
otherwise, dont let me miss one little turn, you would think the world ended , by their griping and complaining , lol

We did not lose in Vietnam because of our Military, We pulled out because of Politcians in Washington and Drugged up Hippies/protesters like Jane Fonda and John Kerry who at best are traitors! Yes I include Kerry in that statement! The Vietnam war was not lost until 2 years after the US pulled out. For those to young to remember, those pictures of Helicopters taking from the Roof of the US embassy dubbed by today's Liberals as our retreat and defeat, Were in fact the US Evacuating our Embassy and lifting out as many Vietnamese who supported us and worked for us as we could. Only a small handfull of US advisors and Embassy staff were even in the 'NAM" at that time. We were not defeated, South Vietnam was but not the USA! Had we stayed and Washington had the Intestinal Fortitude to do the right thing we would have won big time! Nixon done all he could to get us out of the war that JFK and Lyndon Johnson got us into yet our Liberal proffesors still try to pin the blame on Nixon. McCain was there for many years because of JFK and Johnson, both Democrats. I might also add here that Nixon had a peace treaty with North Vietnam that included that the USA would return should the North break the treaty. Then our lovable Congress passed a law forbidding the USA from re entering the war. When the North broke the terms, then President Ford could do nothing because of Congress. I guess you might say that Congress was the big loser!

A person who is insecure in some way wants to impress those around, without thinking of the outcome.....and to some extent we are all apt to do that given the circumstances.
When we feel more in control...as I do now, sitting in front of my keyboard , I can afford to simply express myself honestly, aligning myself with the rest of humanity, sometimes to the benefit of other people, sometimes just for the pleasure it gives me!

Well, sometimes expressing can be more impressive than something that puts on a facade of flamboyance. Express your concerns and you'd be surprised to know that other people have exactly the same. :)

the impressing is something you do for others, in order to be liked, accepted or feared.\, while expressing is something true (your opinion) coming from you. learning to express, in order to be accurately understood by others that is important.

Don't worry about what others think, but let others see how you lead your life.
