Go out and buy yourself something you know anyone else wouldn't.
This past birthday, I went shopping for myself. I had no choice:
My mom is 8 hours away.
My sisters are 6 hours away
I didn't have a serious boyfriend at the time(although the guy I was dating, bought me a birthday cake and flowers).
I bought myself some jewelry. And, loved every minute of pampering myself.

No, and I wouldn't...it's just a day. I did buy myself a gift for Father's Day once. My kids still tease me (I'm a single Mom) - I went out and bought myself a nice tool chest and tools for Father's Day. :-) bbjo
