I have a bookcase in my toilet to provide users with literature to help them enjoy the experience.

Never in my life have I read in the bathroom or felt the need to, but I understand a lot of people do. It's always struck me as kind of an odd thing to do while you were having that function.

Reading relaxes you and takes your mind off what you are doing. It slows you down so you don't try to get it over with quickly (by pushing too hard) .
