I like to think as a parent that I change with the times, and on some things I do. But some other things I stick to my guns on, like making kids EARN what they want not just handing it to them. Also, this spare the rod garbage, IS garbage. Kids can not be raised with the idea that they will never get "reprimanded" because the law SAYS that they can do whatever they want because parents don't have the right to correct them anymore. THAT'S where it has gone wrong and why we have un-ruley kids today.

I still fix my Husbands plate and I want too. I do all the house work and I have a landscaping and lawn mowing business that I do myself. I work around the kids so I can help them all. My most important job is my Family they come first. I cant tell you anymore you all will think I'm nuts.

I believe in being nicer than necessary to people.
I believe in not acting like it's a chore to be helpful.
I like to think most things I believe in aren't oldfashioned and that the majority of people still practice them.

Well it's probably considered sexist and condescending , but I still hold doors open for women and do that half-bow thing where you gesture "ladies first" - that also applies to behind closed doors - I like my girl's pleasure to be the first priority.

yes i feel a women should always be treated with respect and a man should also open a door for her and pull her chair out for her, and always stand when she enters the room,that may make me a chauvinists, if it it does that's to bad that is how i was taught

(*laughter*) On some things. Although, I try to keep them to myself.
I don't think you should date until you're at least 16.
I think children should be taught (and expected) to respect adults (even if we don't always deserve it).
I don't think common courtesy is as common as it should be.
Those rather sum up the basics. (*chuckle*)

Yep...There is one King of the house...I'm happy being his mate. I like the stay at home housewife, cooking and cleaning division of labor.
