Just keep your focus on the Lord... and wait for Him to act. Nothing to fear... our future is secure in Him. =)

Do you know even the disciples were imminently expecting the return of Jesus, and that was over two thousand years ago. Perhaps it is just to keep you on your toes. God knowing human nature realises that people have a tendency to become complacent, and at times lazy. So I presume the state of being in constant preparation for the end makes us more conscious of our responsibilities towards God and to others. I would not live my life in fear though. You should fear nothing except the final judgement, when there will be nobody to represent your life except you. No second chance then.

Well, I don't think that you prepare for it as much as live your life for it. Life is a journey not a destination. Of course there is a destination but that can only be gotten to by the journey.

Every single person knows if they have been a good person, so be the best person that you can be, and remember that to gain forgiveness first one must be a forgiver. Many people miss that main point. They forgive no one yet expect to be forgiven.

And I know it's kind of corny, but your journey should be a trip in which each action begins with a question, what would Jesus do? To many people separate faith from life, in general, your life should be your faith, your faith should be your life.

God has always removed His children out of the way of His wrath, e.g. Lot and Sodom/Gommorrah...Noah & family and the Flood, etc. So, too, will Christians be taken away before the great tribulation. The Bible says we shall be caught up and meet Christ in the air. So, their is nothing to fear. The way to prepare is to pray for ever-increasing faith in your life and to have the Holy Spirit continue to transform you into the likeness of Christ.

There will be 144,000 Israelites from all 12 tribes left to minister to the world. They are Israelites who believe in Christ as Lord. They, along with those who also find Christ during that time, will have their days cut short by the mercy of God. They will all likely be martyred. By the end of the seven years of great tribulation, the time of salvation through faith will end; God's people will be completely taken away; and, God's wrath will pour out on the unbelievers.

It isn't something you prepare for per say. It is a life long journey of discovery and change. You live your life now without thinking about the end of your days or the end of the age. You love those around around and shine your light brightly in people's lives. When the end is the least of things on your mind then you are doing right.

If you are fearful it is because you do not study enough to show yourself approved. When Jesus took the passover meal on that last night...He said do this in Rememberance of me...Wine (blood) and Bread (scripture). Salvation is by the Word of God and faith comes by hearing. If you aren't in the Word of God and studying to show yourself that you are saved then where does your faith come from. There will be two types of so called 'christians' on that day...the ones that used the Word to make money and exploit others and the others will be all about how they did this that and the other for God...but He will say..."Depart from me..I never knew you." Why? Because there was no love in them..not for Him and not for their fellow man and way too much for themselves. The Christian that can stand before God and know they belong to Him will understand that the Word of God is their lifes blood and that being in that Word is like having Christ in thier hands everyday. Who can live without that and have any faith? I tell you, none. You can't get it from a preacher, or a T.V. evangelist show or Joel Osteen telling ya how to get God's "blessings" (material gain)....God gave you His Word for a purpose. Its the keys to the Kingdom of God and it is your mark on that last day, as sign between you and Him, like the blood of the Passover Lamb swiped on doorways...you don't have to memorize it or be able to quote it verbatim...you just have to consume it like bread...your daily bread and let Him do the rest. I swear this is the truth I have found and its all I will promote. Love in Christ, ~J~

Try to live as Jesus did, read the Bible, become a
Christian, receive the Holy Spirit, and love people in your heart. You will never fear the end of time, if you are not ready, then have a talk with your Father in Heaven, and ask Him to help you get ready, because it could be tomorrow.

It sounds like you fear because you don't believe.

If you believe and trust in Him you will have no fear. God will meet us at the end times and it will be wonderful and there will be no fear.

If you live your life by seeking God's will and helping others etc you will be prepared. If you truly repent for your sins you will be prepared and you will be forgiven.

There is no fear in that

The way you "prepare" is by living your life as if Jesus is with you all the time. That way, when He does come back in the flesh, you won't be caught in a place you shouldn't be.

Remember that this "preparation" is actually a loving relationship with your Father in Heaven. You can't earn this by works - our righteousness is as filthy rags to Him. Just continue to abide in His presence every day, seeking His face, and allowing His love to prevail in your heart, and you will be ready. Don't worry - it is His responsibility to make sure his sheep do not go astray - that is why He is called the "Good Shepherd." God bless you!

True Christians prepare for the "end times" every day. Because we are never certain when this will be. The best way to prepare is to live a life that's pleasing to God in every moment of our lives. Whatever your religion may be, what matters most is that you exert an effort to please God more and more, everyday.

God knows it sounds scary to us. He is just trying to comfort us. It's natural to be afraid because it is human nature. If you search the Holy Bible for the words "fear not", you will see it numerous times. Great men and women of the Bible feared. God loves us just as a good parent loves their child, but God's love is perfection. A good parent would comfort their scared child. "Fear not" means "everything will be fine!"

How do we prepare for end times? Well, the Lord Jesus Christ, left us with instructions which says: Love God and love thy neighbor. He also said that it's our duty to tell others about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Matthew 28:19-20

Mark 12:29-34
29And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

30And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

31And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

32And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:

33And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

34And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.
