Why is climate change prevalent in the world now?

This is a question that has been on my mind for sometime, and i am doing research on it. Opinions or websites are appreciated.

The climate is always changing. There is no such thing as a static climate.

There more money in discussing the climate these days, so more people are talking about it.

Climate change is happening "now" (that is, within the past 60 years or so) because the human population of the Earth has increased to 6 billion, and each of those 6 billion people (on average) burns enough fuel to (slightly) change the radiative balance of the atmosphere. CO2 in the atmosphere is increasing, and it is increasing because humans are putting it there. So far the effect has been small, but it may become large.

I absolutely recommend it. I think it is the most accurate opinion survey. I just don' t know when the latest figures were released.

Mate, climate change has been happening for the last 4 billion years, it hasn't just suddenly become "prevalent".
If the climate hadn't changed, we wouldn't be here, maybe if it did in the future, we won't be here, who's to say?

It's been in the world for a long time, people started talking about it back in the 70's but virtually nobody listened, a few people got it here and there but as is usual with people most can't see things until they get smashed in the face with them,
( see: terrorism which also started in the 70's ), so that brings us to where we are now, except now it's going to be infinitely more difficult to do something about it, it would have been much easier to start dealing with it then.

in my opinion it is the liberals fault for this "global warming" trend. really the earth goes in cycles, including weather patterns. if you look at history, things change, big example.... the ice age, which was brought on by the polar ice caps melting which in turn changed the oceanic patterns. that is how the ice age started because most of our weather patterns in the world are based mostly off of our oceans current patterns. how did our globe heat up again? the opposite. seriously, these people, alarm-est, will blow there horn at anything that moves that they don't understand and all it takes is common sense.(although it is not very common) see what i mean... liberals! It isnt a problem, it is going to happen... it is like rain... u cant stop it!

It's become more important because of two things.

More scientific data has become available, and it clearly proves global warming is real and mostly caused by us.

The amount of greenhouse gases we're producing has been increasing enormously.

Because liberal socialists (AKA "communists" in an earlier age) see this as an opportunity to control the industrialized nations of the world, by imposing inane regulations that do nothing but regulate your standard of living, and transfer wealth from your pocket to theirs.

They are fully supported by the "mainstream" media, and such "useful idiots" as the "sheeple", and the other man-made global warming prostitutes known as Al Gore and his disciples of the Gaian cult.

And if you wonder about their success, just read some of the answers in this Global Warming section. There are more and more "chicken littles" created with each graduating class of the public indoctrination system - those places that used to be called "schools."
