she's 2 yrs old. she had flu 3 days ago. during that time she would not eat and would only have a glass of milk (she usually takes 4-5 glasses a day. I thought its normal because she has a cold an a cough. but now that she's ok she still does not want to eat nor drink milk. Although i have scheduled her for a pedia check up tomorrow, i still would like to know your opinion. I have checked her gums and i dont think she has a sore throat because she would eat lumps of rice when she feels like it.

During illness the body loses essential vitamins. This can cause loss of apetite. A short course of additional vitamins can get her strength back and her appetite too. I have a son who suffers from recurrent infections and I start him on vitamin drops and he is fine afterwards.

have you switched milk lately, 2% to whole, to skim?
If you haven't maybe try skim milk its more watery and might be easier on her.
Hope the Dr. appt. comes out well,Good Luck and God Bless
