I have successfully quit pot many times. And i have also tried and failed to quit many times.
You already have the answer, your wonderful GF. If you accept that you will lose her by smoking pot, then you will have what you need. As long as weed is a possibility, then you will always want it, and will inevitably cave in to that nagging desire. BUT if your mind accepts that weed is not a possiblity, then you will no longer think about it and it wont be hard to abstain. If you convince yourself that you dont want that, then you will not even be tempted even if you are around people smoking it.
The hardest part is the first few times that you say no, when you are forming the desire not to do it. Get in the habit of rejecting it and it wont be difficult.
But MOST importantly you need to have a good reason to not want it. There needs to be some change in your attitude towards this drug. THere needs to be some reason why you would rather not put this smoke in your body.
In fact, now that i think about it. I can say this, there is only one way for you to ever possibly quit. If you begin to not enjoy the experience of being stoned, OR if your values change to tell you that the health penalties of weed outweigh the pleasure you get from it. Or maybe, if your GF is really serious and breaks up with you, hurting you badly, and even though you quit, does not return to you for a very painfully long time because you have proven that you dont love her.
I believe you will fail.
Try this, when you get stoned look at your eyes in a mirror.
Is it worth it?

Really, you're just too young. You should be concerned about doing well in school and maybe volunteering. Religion isn't something you do because you feel guilty. Don't tie religion into anything unless you want to have a spiritual side to your life. It doesn't matter, in reality, if you smoke pot or what music you listen to if you get good grades and read to elderly people after school. But I'd save the pot till you're older- your brain is developing and there's not enough evidence that it's safe for kids, so unless you take it for a serious disease I'd hold off for now.

Simply quit! I know for a fact that is is not addictive (personal experience...) so just put it down and focus your attention on other ways of making you happy. When you feel bored or unhappy, do something productive to occupy your mind, or even better; hang out with your girlfriend. I know she will really appreciate your efforts if you can quit for her.

Check into a clinic or somethin, but only if your parents know about your addiction. Other than that. Put all your money in the bank so you cant buy pot. Since i think you have to be 18 or older to withdraw it (youd need your mom to go with you to get your money outa the bank).

Sounds like a scapegoat for her real reasons for not wanting a future with you - unless you become a werewolf when on the weed...and if that's the case, perhaps you should consider it. Give her an ultimatum - give up the nagging, or disappear.

Just quit. It is not that hard. Refuse to smoke it, and tell them that you have quit. I would not date a man that does port or any other drug. Several guys I dated quit for me.

People claim it's not addictive. Apparently they are wrong? I'm not a pot smoker so I don't know. Maybe just force yourself to stay away. Exercise instead.
