Yes.
However, if you use a non-Renault unit, it may not be compatible with the high-level display and the remote controls on the steering column, so these will no longer work with the stereo.
The rest of the high-level display (e.g. the clock) should be unaffected.
Some non-Renault units can be used with the remote controls.
Ask a decent car audio shop.

You can. You will need to purchase a facia and a lead adaptor. You can pick both up from Halfords. Ask at the Ripspeed counter and they will tell you excactly what you need.

yes you can, have a look on ebay and you'll be able to find a replacement. i did the same for my scenic. try looking at arden car audio.

Economical and better Use a cd or mp3 adapter with your actual-component.
