I am moving and have been asked to take out indemnity insurance on a new double glazed front door and window.?

For these two items does anyone know how much insurance is likely to cost?

Did you have a company fix the new door and window?If you did,then they should have given you a guarantee,give this to your solicitor.If you fitted them yourself then just tell them you do not have any indemnity insurance and have no intention of paying for it.I do'nt think it is a legal requirement (check though,I may be wrong) .Good luck with your sale it is very stressful is'nt it?

.. well one answer is 'if you want to buy the house, arrange your own insurance' ..
