There is a big demand for it so it'll be along soon i bet.

I rather have motion controls rather then vibration... no damage to your hands that way... might need your hands to work in the future without the pain of RSI.

Nothing like some RSI for today's kids.

Vibration will come back. New 80gig packs have been advertised with a red PS button on the Sixaxix controller. They have settled their lawsuit with Immersion ans Sony have said themselves that they are making something called TouchRumble or somthing like that which means it'll be different to the 360's and Wii's as every single part of the controller can rummble, even the analogue sticks. Developers can even choose to have certain parts rumble and other parts not, which would wourk well when using the motion sensitivity. We will learn more about the new controller in Liepzig which starts August 23rd and the new controller will be available at the end of the year along with the 80gig PS3.

yes, it has been known for awihle now that some of the better developers have already recieved prototype rumble controllers and Sony will make announcement in the coming months, hopefully sooner than later. The only reason that the PS3 didn't have rumble when it launched was because of lawsuit with immersion, which has since been settled. There is some PR statements that say rumble was a last gen feautre, or something justifiying the lack of rumble, but it was really just the lawsuit. The only thing good that may have come from the lack of rumble is the sixaxis motion sensing, if only more developers found applications that weren't just gimmicy for it...

There are two different 'reasons' vibration wasn't included.
The official line was the SIXAXIS motion sensing wouldn't be accurate whilst vibrating.
The back story is they couldn't include the technology whilst the lawsuit was ongoing with Immersion.
However, this lawsuit has been settled. This paves the way for vibration to return to our games.
Rumours were that it would be switchable between vibration and motion sensing...I would like this personally...
I miss vibration in my racing games...

Sony said no. Because the law suit & they do not want it to happen again. The only game console that has vibration controllers are Xbox 360 & Nintendo Wii. @ least you have Blu-ray right?
