Tom Troll: Deliberately asks questions with the intent of provoking, offending, or insulting any particular faith or group. Their accounts usually get suspended before they make much of a name for themselves.

The Seeker: He actually comes thinking that people are here to share insight and wisdom, in an effort to all live peacefully in the community we call earth. He is shocked, amazed, and notably disturbed when he perceives it as little more than a game of "Who has the biggest wanker" between different faiths.

The Missionary: She is not here to ask any questions at all. Rather, she uses this as a soap to make statements about her beliefs.

The Conquistador: Sort of a hybrid between the Troll and the Missionary. Instead of propagating his own beliefs, he openly attacks all who believe anything different than he does.

The Sacrificial Lamb: He is the most obnoxious and simultaneously most ignorant member of his faith group. His brethren soon sell him out to the rest of R&S because they don't want to be associated with him.

Point Harvester--will answer any question for the 2 points, even if the "answer" is "thanks for the two points.

Echo Chamber--asks the same question, or variant of the question, over and over again.

Vapour Trail--people who spend a large portion of their time asking questions that refer to previous questions, or questions about other questions.

False Front--asks for information about, or views from, the opposing point of view, then picks a best answer from his own camp that provides neither of these things.

Deadbeat Asker--dumps a question into R&S, then forgets about it, never picking a best answer.

Junior Zealot--Religious equivalent of the Brainy Atheist--a new (or young) convert to a faith who thinks that their pronouncements on religious topics are that much more profound and sincere than everyone else. Can't understand why everyone doesn't share his belief so convinces himself that atheists secretly are believers. Most likely to resort to Pascal's Wager--often in the belief that they have come up with it on their own.

Kirkophile--asks Evolution questions in the R&S forum, because asking in the Science forum would make them look silly . Believes that "evolutionists" believe that we came from monkeys. Recites the "watchmaker analogy" as if they just thought of it themselves. Doesn't know the difference between the Big Bang theory, the origins of life, and evolution--thinks they are all the same thing.

Toolbar--Person who points out the spelling or grammar mistakes in every question. Often such corrections are the only content of their answer.

Corny Pastie--pastes entire entries from other websites (often Wiki) sometimes without acknowledging the source.

Chaos Engine--posts "answers" to questions that have absolutely nothing to do with what's being asked, often in the form of a chain-letter.

wow, this is brilliant! Nice critical thinking!

I think I fall into the "Martha Good" category, although I can be a contrarion too.

Hmmm....more categories?

6. Shameless Novice - This user asks super obvious questions, even self-evident ones, without seeming to know/care how obvious his questions are. He or she also seems impervious to the stream of insults that flow in upon asking the question.

7. Answers Rockstar - This user can seemingly do no wrong with other users, gaining a widespread following and invoking gratuitous questions directed specifically to them? (i.e. The "what should I do R*#" and Jack B.).

8. The One-Note Wonder - This user has no problem giving super short, inconsequential answers that offer little to no insight. Even though they're obviously not helping anyone, they stubbornly persist in these monosyllabic, simplistic answers.

9. Mr. I Don't Know -- Even though the whole foundation of this forum is based on giving ANSWERS, Mr. I don't know is perfectly fine with answering a question by saying "hmmm not sure...." or "wish I could help you," or "never heard of it, sorry."

Muppet News FLASH!

StarJumper in an effort to expose the long held secret that Kermat Da Frog is in fact her older brother, has reveled her self contrary to the facade that she has borne on R&S.
Thus she must be counted among the 'MissPiggy' category. She is always right, even when she is wrong, and if you disagree, you will receive a chop to the neck!
Her wisdom is derived from Kermat Da Frog, for when a question is posed of immense difficulty, she will call her sibling to inquire of the solution, thus adopting the borrowed knowledge as her own.

END OF FLASH...

There are those who believe they have the definitive question that will shatter the whole crumbley edifice of their opponents, and are a bit miffed when noone cares less, or someone informs them that yes they've heard that one before.

Then there are those who think they are genius wits and are upset when no one appreciates the subtlety of their humour, or when people take their clearly sarcastic questions at face value and give serious helpful answers.

The Realist: Appreciates what is fun about Y!A -- the people, enjoys the real conversations when they actually happen, and looks to learn from different points of view.

That describes a good number of us.

Seraphim: His questions and answers are like cool water, soothing and thirst quenching. You fall in love with him immedietely.
Cat Eyes: This amazing user, is gentle and sweet, and makes me feel all fuzzy inside. She has a way about her that I envy.
Jack B: a Manly man, a sensitive nature, and the most sociable of all users, this beautiful specimen of a man can bring even the most hell bent Christian (pun intended) to his knees before him, just by using that endless charm of his. sigh...
